Irene Pérez
Irene Pérez Tirado is a predoctoral researcher at the “Human Rights Programme: ethical, social, and political challenges,” University of Deusto (UD). She has a degree in Journalism (Complutense University of Madrid, UCM), Political Science and Sociology (National Distance Education University, UNED), and a Master’s Degree in Human Rights, Interculturality, and Development (Pablo de Olavide University, UPO). From 2015 to 2017, she worked as a research assistant in the area of Social Innovation at UD, carrying out several applied projects. Since 2018, she has been doing her doctorate researching feminism, anti-feminist resistances, media discourse, and social perception. Besides, she participates as a researcher in projects such as the Regional Manifestos Project, a study funded by the Ministry of Economy and Competitiveness, within the National R + D + i Plan. In addition, she is part of the technical team for the Ada Byron Award for Women Technologists. She has publications in impact indexed journals and has participated in various national and international seminars and conferences related to her area of study.
