Mariluz Congosto, Polytechnic University of Madrid. She received M.Sc. in Computer Science from the Universidad Polytechnic in Madrid, and a PhD degree in Telematics from the Universidad Carlos III in Madrid, where she worked as an assistant professor. She also worked for 20 years in R&D for Telefónica. Her main research interest focuses on patterns in social media networks, such as the characterization of users, how messages are spread, and analysis of events.
